So how did I get here?

Prior to starting my consulting practice in 2018, my 15 years of experience in journalism and strategic communications included:

  • Launching and operating print publications, websites, podcasts and online video platforms;

  • Developing public information campaigns to illustrate the social impact and sustainability of publicly traded corporations;

  • Managing public affairs initiatives in support of policy objectives on the federal, state and local levels;

  • Crafting organizational and executive messaging;

  • Investigative and beat reporting.

My analytical skills and creativity collaborating with clients enable us to develop fresh ways to think and talk about their complexities. Explaining abstract frameworks and applying them to real-world problems has proved especially useful while engaging with key stakeholders and communities.

As a strategic communications consultant, I now help clients who want to make a difference tell their own stories and express their values in ways that inspire audiences to take effective action.
